“God is the God of the Whole World” – Part 2 of 4

“OUR GOD IS GOD OF THE WHOLE WORLD” said Brandon, junior at Western Michigan University, after experiencing evangelism in the Netherlands.

Brandon (center) talking to Alex (third from left) and others from GVSU & WMU— debriefing their evangelism at Erasmus University in Rotterdam at the end of a long day.

“Throughout the week, I think some major things are being accomplished. One… for the Dutch, that they are hearing that God cares for them, has a plan for them, and wants them to be in relationship with Him through Jesus. Two… that our team is learning how to better share the Gospel with people back home.  People we know, don’t know, or will come to know.

But finally, a third thing is happening that is so important: our individual growth during this life changing time.  God is using this time, away from the comforts of home, the United States, and familiarity to expose a need that I have. On the surface it may look like a need for the familiar, for the US, for my own house.  It’s obvious that I need something more, and I really believe this trip is showing me how I need to rely and trust and respond to God more.”  – Alex, a senior at Grand Valley State University
